The Wyre Business Awards began as a small awards ceremony to celebrate and support business in Wyre. Now, the business awards are a prestigious event recognised across the borough, and indeed further afield, by businesses and customers alike.
With over 100 entries in 2024 and approximately 250 guests at last years spectacular ceremony, the excitement and engagement surrounding the awards are stronger than ever, with our new Invest in Wyre website hosting a year-round Wyre Business Awards information section and increasing the profile of the awards even further.
Many Wyre businesses use our awards as a springboard to regional and national recognition, showcasing the quality and ambition of our local enterprises and opening doors to new supply chain opportunities across Wyre, Lancashire and the UK.
This year, we’re celebrating and supporting Wyre’s vibrant farming and countryside community with the introduction of a brand-new award for all those connected to this sector. We’re also proud to launch the ‘Pride in Place’ award, to shine a spotlight on our towns and villages by recognising exceptional high street and business frontages, where first impressions to the borough do count.
