The Wyre Business Awards began as a small awards ceremony to celebrate and support business in Wyre. Now, the business awards are a prestigious event recognised across the borough, and indeed further afield, by businesses and customers alike.
With over 100 entries in 2025 and approximately 160 guests at last year’s spectacular ceremony, the excitement and engagement surrounding the awards are stronger than ever.
Many Wyre businesses use our awards as a springboard to regional and national recognition, showcasing the quality and ambition of our local enterprises and opening doors to new supply chain opportunities across Wyre, Lancashire and the UK.
This year, we’re continuing to celebrate and support all our flourishing businesses in Wyre, from hospitality and tourism to farming and logistics businesses, precision engineering to beauty therapy and wellbeing. Social enterprises to businesses that raise significant sums for charity, and volunteer themselves, with their staff and customers, for great causes in the district. These awards recognise the collaborative spirit of business in Wyre.
